Las uniones comunicantes purificadas se reconstituyeron en liposomas.  la permeabilidad a traves de los canales de las uniones comunicantes resulto ser dependiente de la temperatura, mostrando la representacion de arrhenius correspondiente al proceso una recta bifasica, a partir de la cual se calcularon una temperatura de transicion de 28,2 c y unas energias de activacion por encima y por debajo de esta temperatura de 28,8 kj\/mol y 15,6 kj\/mol respectivamente.  se ha caracterizado tambien la fosforilacion de las uniones comunicantes de higado de rata por proteina quinasa a, proteina quinasa c y una fraccion enriquecida en el receptor del factor de crecimiento epidermico (egfr). La fosforilacion por el egfr tiene lugar en residuos de tirosina de un modo dependiente de egf. La calmodulina inhibe la fosforilacion de la conexina-32 en tirosina por el egfr de un modo independiente del calcio.  ademas, la conexina-26 no se fosforila por la fraccion enriquecida en el egfr, mientras que la conexina-32 de higado de raton se fosforila por la misma fraccion de un modo no estimulable por el egf.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis doctoral
