El otro tipo de aproximaci\u00f3n usa la teoria de contacto de hertz para calcular las distribuciones de presion en la zona de contacto, y integra num\u00e9ricamente estas distribuciones para obtener las fuerzas de contacto. Los dos m\u00e9todos tienen limitaciones. La suposici\u00f3n de rigidez transversal infinita en el metodo de routh implica una anisotrop\u00eda que la mayor parte de materiales no presenta, y la necesidad de calcular las distribuciones de presi\u00f3n en los metodos basados en la teoria de hertz hace que sean computacionalmente complejos y que requieran gran capacidad de calculo.  esta tesis presenta un modelo alternativo para colisiones con fricci\u00f3n que combina caracteristicas de los dos metodos mencionados. Supone contacto puntual, como el modelo de routh,y tiene en cuenta la deformaci\u00f3n tangencial, como los modelos basados en la teoria de hertz.
