Rosario <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>En esta tesis se profundiza en el significado biologico de la eliminacion de heterocromatina en relacion al proceso de diferenciacion celular de las celulas somaticas durante la embriogenesis temprana del nematodo parascaris univalens. Se demuestra que ambos fenomenos estan estrictamente correlacionados.  ademas, se completa la caracterizacion ultraestructural de la organizacion del centromero en p. Univalens. En concreto, en los cromosomas embrionarios tempranos, antes y despues del fenomeno de eliminacion de heterocromatina.  se inicia la caracterizacion bioquimica y molecular de nuevas proteinas asociadas al centromero en organismos eucariotas, utilizando como modelo los cromosomas del nematodo parascaris. Mediante el uso de anticuerpos monoclonales especificos, se identifican epitopos proteicos conservados asociados a la region centromerica de los cromosomas.
