En esta memoria se extienden los trbajos de neuts y meier (on the use of phase type distributions in reliability modeling of systems whit two components, or spektrum 2,227-234,1981)y de lam (calculating the rate of icurrence of failures for continuous time markov chains with applicationes to a two-component parallel system, j. Oper. Res. Soc., 46,528-538).  esta memoria se estructua en cuatro cap\u00edtulos. Un primer cap\u00edtulo general donde se hace un resumen de las nociones te\u00f3ricas utilizadas m\u00e1s adelante. en los cap\u00edtulos dos y tres se introducen modelos tipo fase y se otienen las medias de funcionamiento asociadas a los mismo, haciendo una aplicaci\u00f3n tipo pr\u00e1ctica de estos sistemas.
