Perez-soba Diez Del Corral <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>La tesis se enmarca dentro del nuevo impulso que las ciencias de las religiones (religious studies, histoire des religions) est\u00e1n viviendo en espa\u00f1a. De esta manera, se estructura en dos partes: la primera intenta mostar la evoluci\u00f3n de la metodolog\u00eda de la fenomenolog\u00eda de la religi\u00f3n y de la historia comparada de las religiones, buscando un acuerdo que permita una acci\u00f3ncom\u00fan interdiciplianr. Tras ello, se muestra el lugar que puede ocupar la historia religiosa tradicional en esta metodolog\u00eda interdisciplinar, de manera que le an\u00e1lisis hist\u00f3rico se vea enriquecido por un an\u00e1lisis de la especificidad del hecho religioso.  la segunda parte intenta aplicar la metodolog\u00eda mostrada en la primera, analizando un casod e violencia religiosa medieval: el origen del mito de santiago apareciendo en la batalla de clavijo. Un an\u00e1lisis de historia religiosa muestra el desarrollo del culto jacobeo en espa\u00f1a y hace una nueva propuesta para resituar el famoso privelegio deonde nace la leyenda. tras ello, se usan m\u00e9todos de historia comparada para mostar las ra\u00edces b\u00edblicas y cl\u00e1sicas de las apariciones d eintermediarios divinos en batallas casi perdias, para acabar viendo c\u00f3mo estas tradiciones confluyen en la \u00e9poca cristiana en un episodio de la vida del emprador teodosio. Finalmente se sigue la evluci\u00f3n que este relato sufre al llegar con los conquistadores a am\u00e9rica.
