Se analiza la figura de la diosa h\u00e9cate, muy importante para la creaci\u00f3n en la mentalidad medieval de im\u00e1genes tric\u00e9falas del diablo, la m\u00e1s impactante de las cuales es la que dante describe en su divina comedia. A continuaci\u00f3n se aborda el tema del empleo de esta antigua iconografia como metodo para expresar la trinitas-unitas. Uno de los aspectos m\u00e1s interesantes del motivo es su polisemia. De este modo, se puede rastrear su uso para personificar fen\u00f3menos naturales, como el viento, o ideas abastractas(prudencia, santidad, orgullo&#8230;.). Finalmente, el autor revisa la cuesti\u00f3n de las criticas a esta imagen en su vertiente trinitaria y las posibles de su desaparici\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la
