Escolares y maestras, protagonsitas centrales, construyen interactivamente estrategias creativas que les permiten hallar nuevas formas para explicar el mundo social y para hacer frente a los conflictos emergentes de la gran diversidad cultural. La aproximaci\u00f3n a unobjeto de estas caracter\u00edsticas, constituido por formas simb\u00f3licas complejas, ha requerido una elecci\u00f3n metodol\u00f3gica que permitiera la interpretaci\u00f3n y comprensi\u00f3n del sentido frente a identidades m\u00faltiples y cambiantes. Se ha utilziado un modelo de investigaci\u00f3n educativa que se inscribe en la metodolog\u00eda de la investigaci\u00f3n etnogr\u00e1fica, con la utilizaci\u00f3n de diferentes t\u00e9cncias y fuentes variadas de informaci\u00f3n: observaci\u00f3n participante, observaci\u00f3n no participante,cuadernos de campo, entrevistas, estudio de casos, historia oral, an\u00e1lisis de documentos. El trabajo de campo ha sido llevado a cabo en tres centros de ense\u00f1anza primaria de la ciudad de baracelona. El aprote de la tesis consiste en la producci\u00f3n de conocimiento acerca de la singularidad del hecho educativo en ests circunstancias especiales, a partir de principios fundamentales tales como: concepci\u00f3n m\u00faltiple de la realidad, comprensi\u00f3n de las relaciones internas de los fen\u00f3menos, interrelaci\u00f3n entre investigador\/a y objeto de investigaci\u00f3n y an\u00e1lisis
