Felix <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Las cianobacterias utilizan preferentemente compuestos de nitr\u00f3geno inorg\u00e1nico para su crecimiento, siendo el amonio la fuente de nitr\u00f3geno preferida, que ejerce una represi\u00f3n de la expresi\u00f3n de genes implicados en la asimilaci\u00f3n de fuentes de nitr\u00f3geno alternativas. Ntca es el activador transcripcional de genes sometidos a control por nitr\u00f3geno en las cianobacterias.  se ha colonado y secuenciado el gen responsable de la actividad de transporte de amonio\/metilamonio de synechococcus sp.Pcc 7942. El gen amt1 es un gen regulado directamente por ntca y su expresi\u00f3n depende de las condiciones nutricionales de carbono y nitr\u00f3geno. La permeasa amt1 se requiere para el crecimiento a expensas de amonio a concentraciones micromolares y en la recuperaci\u00f3n del amonio que se pierde del interior celular dada la gran permeabilidad de las membranas biol\u00f3gicas al amoniaco.  para profundizar en el mecanismo de actuaci\u00f3n de ntca se ha medido la afinidad que muestra este prote\u00edna por los distintos promotores regulados por nitr\u00f3geno, deduci\u00e9ndose que la secuencia de los promotores influye en dicha afinidad, asi como por versiones alteradas de los mismos, lo que ha subrayado la importancia de las secuencias gta y tac, que son los tripletes m\u00e1s conservados, as\u00ed como la influencia de las secuencias flanqueantes del sitio de uni\u00f3n de ntca en el dna.  el estudio de la posible modulaci\u00f3n de ntca ha sugerido que dicho regulador transcripcional podr\u00eda ser una prote\u00edna alost\u00e9rica cuya actividad se viese regulada por los niveles intracelulares de 2-oxoglutarato,un posible indicador de la relaci\u00f3n c\/n celular.  la caracterizaci\u00f3n de la mutaci\u00f3n ser 126 phe de ntca ha indicado que dicha mutaci\u00f3n no afecta a su capacidad de uni\u00f3n al dna, si bien la prote\u00edna con dicho cambio puntual es defectuosa en la activaci\u00f3n de la transcripci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis doctoral \u00ab<strong>Estudios sobre el control de la asimilacion del nitrogeno en la cianobacteria synechococcus sp. 7942 mediado por el regulador transcripcional ntca<\/strong>\u00ab<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>T\u00edtulo de la tesis:<\/strong>\u00a0 Estudios sobre el control de la asimilacion del nitrogeno en la cianobacteria synechococcus sp. 7942 mediado por el regulador transcripcional ntca <\/li>\n<li><strong>Autor:<\/strong>\u00a0  Vazquez Bermudez M.
