Teresa <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>La rotavirus consistuyen la principal causa de gastroenteritis no bacteriana en ni\u00f1os y animales j\u00f3venes. Se ha estudiado la expresi\u00f3nd e distitnas prote\u00ednas de la c\u00e1pside de ratavirus (vp4, vp6, vp8) en vectores procariotas (e. Coli y l. Lactis). Se ha evaluado la capacidad inmunog\u00e9nica de estas prote\u00ednas recombinantes en un modelo de rat\u00f3n lactante, comprb\u00e1ndose que las prote\u00ednas vp6 y vp8* expresadas en e. Coli sonaltamente inmun\u00f3genas. la inmunizaci\u00f3n de las madres conprote\u00edna vp8* protege frente a la diararea por rotavirus enlas cr\u00edas, aunque esta queda restringida por el serotipo del virus infectante. Tambi\u00e9n se ha comprobado que esta protecci\u00f3n es conferida por los anticuerpos anti-vp8* presentes en la leche materna, pero no por los anticuerpos s\u00e9ricos adquiridos a trav\u00e9s de la placenta.
