Se trata de uno de los ciclones de la primera etapa, que filtra 1\/9 de los gases de combusti\u00f3n de salida de la caldera. Es un dise\u00f1o de alta eficiencia al cual va adosada una tuber\u00eda de extracci\u00f3n de cenizas. El conjunto constituye un dise\u00f1o novedoso del que no existen estudios previos. A partir de una revisi\u00f3n bibliogr\u00e1fica se determinan los par\u00e1metros de escalado, prestando atenci\u00f3n a los fen\u00f3menos producidos a alta presi\u00f3n y temperatura y alta concentraci\u00f3n de part\u00edculas. Se delimitan por primera vez los par\u00e1metros en el caso de la pata de extracci\u00f3n. Posteriormente se describe la planta experimental y los ensayos realizados. La validaci\u00f3n del modelo se realiza mediante comparaci\u00f3n de las ca\u00eddas de presi\u00f3n de cicl\u00f3n y pata con medidas de una planta real. Tras la validaci\u00f3n se analiza con profundidad sus funcionamientos, determinando la influencia de par\u00e1metros tales como la carga de s\u00f3lidos al cicl\u00f3n y la fracci\u00f3n de gas extra\u00edda por la pata en la eficiencia de separaci\u00f3n y la p\u00e9rdida de carga en cicl\u00f3n y pata.
