Al igual que el ente, el uno se dice de varias maneras. Per se y per accidens. Hay varios modos de lo uno per se: el uno por continuidad, por contig\u00ed\u00bcidad, por sujeto indiferente, por definici\u00f3n, por conocimiento. Es m\u00e1s uno el modo que tenga menos celaci\u00f3n con lo material. El uno s\u00f3lo se entiende con sus partes: lo id\u00e9ntico, lo diverso y lo diferente. En el estudio de la pluralidad como opuesto del uno, se ve que la contrariedad es el fundamento de la oposici\u00f3n real, y no la contradicci\u00f3n como piensa el criterio de la modernidad.
