Estudia la evoluci\u00f3n del concepto de sabidur\u00eda hasta la epoca de vives, en la antig\u00ed\u00bcedad clasica, la tradicion cristiana, el primer renacimiento italiano y el humanismo centroeuropeo. La introducci\u00f3n a la sabiduria (1524) ocupa el lugar central del trabajo de la tesis, como obra emblem\u00e1tica y se toma como referencia para obras previas en las que vives fue conformando su idea de sabio, y para la aplicaci\u00f3n en obras posteriores de los temas tratados alli. Estos se van concretando de un modo vital, pues no se puede aislar la propia biografia de vives de su visi\u00f3n de la sabiduria como ideal de vida y encarnacion del sabio. La sabiduria, como rasgo comun de toda la obra del fil\u00f3sofo, se estudia en relaci\u00f3n con el ser humano, la verdad, la virtud, la sociedad y su plenitud en la bienaventuranza eterna. Es una ciencia que se ha de convertir en habito de conducta etica para lograr la m\u00e1s plena realizaci\u00f3n humana.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis doctoral
