Esta tecnolog\u00eda incluye todas las fases, desde el dise\u00f1o, pasando por el crecimiento epitaxial y la fabricaci\u00f3n, hasta la caracterizaci\u00f3n.  el dise\u00f1\u00f3 de los detectores se lleva a cabo mediante el uso de herramientas de simulaci\u00f3n que permiten obtener la estructura m\u00e1s adecuada para el objetivo propuesto.  en cuanto al crecimiento, se realiza un estudio sistem\u00e1tico y exhaustivo del mismo. Se lleva a cabo un an\u00e1lisis previo de las estructuras para determinar los diferentes par\u00e1metros que influyen en las prestaciones del detector. a continuaci\u00f3n, se describen los pasos seguidos por el autor para la optimizaci\u00f3n de cada uno de estos par\u00e1metros constrastando los resultados con figuras de m\u00e9rito publicadas en la bibliograf\u00eda.  por \u00faltimo, se detallan las diferentes modificaciones llevadas a cabo en algunas de las t\u00e9cnicas de medida para la correcta caracterizaci\u00f3n de los dispositivos.
