El fin de este estudio es, adem\u00e1s de el de conocer mejor estos microorganismos, el de intentar descubrir estrategias para el desarrollo de nuevos antif\u00fangicos, fundamentalmente para las candiddiasis sistem\u00e1ticas. Por ello es importante conocer la pared celular en profundidad, variaciones moleculares que se producen en la transformaci\u00f3n de levadura a micelio y factores que intervienen en la virulencia de este microorganismo.  en este trabajo nos hemos centrado en la obtenci\u00f3n de mutantes morfol\u00f3gicos con el objeto de intentan detectar mol\u00e9culas que intervengan en sus morfog\u00e9nesis, se intentaron detectar las posibles modificaciones que se producen a nivel molecular en la pared celular de estos y comprobar su posible relaci\u00f3n con la virulencia. Para ello, se analizaron la composici\u00f3n cuantitativa de las paredes celulares, tanto de prote\u00ednas como de material gluc\u00eddico, se estudi\u00f3 electrofor\u00e9ticamente el material unido y no unido covalentemente a esta estructura. Por \u00faltimo se efectuaron estudios de virulencia, para comprobar la posible relaci\u00f3n tanto de la morfolog\u00eda como de las diferencias detectadas a nivel molecular y la
