Pilar <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>En la presente tesis se realiza el estudio de la variabilidad gen\u00e9tica de quercus suber l. A trav\u00e9s de dos tipos de marcadores moleculares: isoenzimas y adn de cloroplastos. La variaci\u00f3n enzim\u00e1tica se estima a partir de 22 poblaciones, mediante 9 loci polim\u00f3rficos. A partir de las frecuencias al\u00e9licas se obtienen diversos par\u00e1metros de diversidad gen\u00e9tica entre y dentro de poblaciones, que ofrecen valores tipicos de las especies del genero. Se observa una gran diversificaci\u00f3n intrapoblacional, que se atribuye a las caracter\u00edsticas reproductivas y vitales de la especie. Los factores con m\u00e1s influencia sobre los patrones de variabilidad son el aislamiento de las poblaciones y en los relacionados con la historia de la especie, que determinan una mayor o menor importancia de los fen\u00f3menos de deriva.  el estudio de la variabilidad de cloroplastos se lleva a cabo sobre 35 poblaciones de alcornoque. Mediante estos marcadores se detecta la existencia de una introgresi\u00f3n gen\u00e9tica con encina. Este intercambio gen\u00e9tico entre las dos especies sigue un patr\u00f3n geogr\u00e1fico, ya que en las poblaciones de la mitad oriental de la pen\u00ednsula ib\u00e9rica el citoplasma de q. Suber ha sido totalmente sustituido por el de q. Ilex.  sobre la base de los datos enzimaticos, se calcula la contribuci\u00f3n de cada poblaci\u00f3n a la diversidad total de la especie. Esta informaci\u00f3n es aplicable en los programas de conservaci\u00f3n, principalmente a la hora de decidir qu\u00e9 poblaciones deben incluirse en ellos.
