Paz <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>El objetivo del trabajo es estudiar la partiacipaci\u00f3n de la galanina y de sus fragmentos n-terminales y c-terminales en elc ontrol central cardiocirculatorio. se demuestra que mientras que la administraci\u00f3n central de la mol\u00e9cula completa de galanina produce un aumento transitorio de la presi\u00f3n arterial acompa\u00f1ado de taquicardia, los fragmentos n-terminales producen un aumento de la presi\u00f3n arterial mantenido acompa\u00f1ado igualmente de taqucardia. Sin embargo, los fragmentos c-terminales no tienen efecto ninguno ni sobre la presi\u00f3n arterial ni sobre la frecuencia card\u00edaca. Por otro lado, se demuestra que las acciones cardiovascualres de la mol\u00e9cula completa de galanina se modifican completamente enpresencia de atropina administrada perif\u00e9ricamente, mientras que el pretratamiento con propranolol bloquea las acciones cardiovasculares mediadas por los fragmentos n-terminales en la galanina.  por \u00faltimo, se describe mediante el estudio de expresi\u00f3n de c-fos los posibles lugares de actuaci\u00f3n de la galanina y de sus fragmentos en el tronco del enc\u00e9falo.
