Se ha caracterizado una regi\u00f3n gen\u00f3mica de la cepa d188 de r. Gasciaus que contien 2 genes que codifica 2 factores simga rof a y rof b.  ambos presentan conservadas las regiones caracter\u00edsticas de la familia sigma 70 los dos genes se encuentran en el genoma a una distancia de 8,3 kilobases. Junto al gen raf a se ha caracterizado al gen pgk que codifica una polifosfato glucoquinasa. Se comprob\u00f3 la actividad quin\u00e1sica de la prote\u00edna de r.Fascians, utilizando atp y polifsfatos como donadores del grupo fosfato.  la enzima era activa a termperaturas de entre 25 y 56\u00aa c  a altas temperaturas, la enzima de r. Fasciaus utiliza mejor los polifosfatos de cadena larga. se calcularon las constantes de afinidad (km) para el atp y para la glucosa. se comprob\u00f3 que la enzima era capaz de fosforilar distintos hexosas y peontosas, adem\u00e1s de la glucosa.  a 4 kilobases del gen raf b se localiz\u00f3 el gen dnd r que codifica una prote\u00edna reguladora de pendiente de metales.
