Angeles <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Para investigar la importancia de los mecanismos que controlan la actividad de las enzimas gluconeogenicas, fructosa 1,6-bistosiatasa (fbpasa) y fostoenolpiruvato carboxikinasa, en s. Cerevisiae, hemos construidi cepas levadura en las que se eliminan uno o varios de estos mecanismos de regulacion y hemos estudiado como se comportan en presencia de glucosa. Para sortear el control por represion catabolica, los genes gluconeogenicos se han expresado bajo el control del promotor adh1, que no es reprimido por glucosa. Para estudiar el efecto de los demas mecanismos de control de la fbpasa (inactividad e inhibicion alosterica por amp y fructosa-2,6-bisfosfato) hemos utilizado fbpasas heterologas procedentes de e. Coll.  hemos encontrado que todas las cepas de levadura construidas son viables en glucosa.  sin embargo, su tiempo de generacion aumenta y el rendimiento de biomasa disminuye; los cambios pueden alcanzar un 20-30%.
