La forma m\u00e1s segura de prevenci\u00f3n del estr\u00e9s es el estilo de vida y principalmente una dieta sana y equilibrada, que aporte al organismo sustancias antioxidantes procedentes de los vegetales consumidos.  objetivo.-El objeto del trabajo es la evaluaci\u00f3n de mandarinas, naranja, y derivados como fuente de sustancias antioxidantes, y la influencia de la variedad, fecha de recoleci\u00f3n, almacenamiento y campa\u00f1a sobre los mismos.  metodo y muestras.- Se determina la relaci\u00f3n zumo\/peso, los contenidos, en fenoles solubles totales (espectrofotometr\u00eda), vitamina c (polarograf\u00eda) y el poder antioxidante total(espectrofotometr\u00eda) en variedades de mandarinas y naranjas de dos campa\u00f1as distintas (98\/99 y 99\/00), recogidas en tres fechas (inicial, inicial m\u00e1s 7 dias e inicial m\u00e1s 21 dias) y almacenadas 0 y 10 dias a 5 2c. Y en bebidas a base de naranjas(zumos, nectares y refrescos) de diferentes marcas y 3 lotes distintos.  resultados.- Los resultados confirman a las mandarinas y naranjas como fuentes de sustancias antioxidantes por su contenido en vitamina c en mg\/100 ml (mandarinas 26,96-39,08 y naranjas 50,69-54,24),fenoles solubles totales en mg\/100ml (mandarinas 72.62-89.19 y naranjas 44.43-101.86) y poder antioxidante total mmol trolox\/l(mandarinas 2.24-3.68 y naranjas 1.78-4.03). Entre las bebidas a base de naranjas destacan los zumos que muestran contenidos de vitamina c(8.49-26.55) y un alto contenido en fenoles solubles totales(94.09-112.34) y poder antioxidante total(3.18-6.71).  destacan la influencia de la variedad y campa\u00f1a en los parametros estudiados y se indican interacciones entre la variedad y fecha de recolecci\u00f3n y variedad y campa\u00f1a.
