De las 800 bacterias inicialmente aisladas y evaluadas por su actividad antagonica in vitro, se seleccionaron diez bacterias y se evaluaron in vivo y en invernadero. s\u00f3lo cuatro bacterias mostraron un efecto parcial sobre al menos dos de las enfermedades. La identificaci\u00f3n de estas bacterias revel\u00f3 que las cuatro pertenecen al genero bacillus. T.Harzianum mostro un efecto sobre p.Capsici y a.Alternata pero no tuvo ningun efecto sobre f.Oxysporum. El estudio parcial del mecanismo responsable de la actividad antagonica mostro que la presencia de estas bacterias y t.Harzianum en la parte subterranea de la planta de pimiento induce una reacci\u00f3n de resistencia sist\u00e9mica frente a los tres pat\u00f3genos en la parte subterranea de la planta aerea en la planta que se traduce en un reduccion de la necrosis causada por p.Capsici y a.Alternata y de la extensi\u00f3nd el micelio de f.Oxysporum en el tallo. Tanto las cepas de baciullus como t.Harzianum produjeron metabolitos antifungicos in vitro. la hidr\u00f3lisis de estos metabolitos antif\u00fangicos mediante la prote\u00ednasa k, la glucosidasa, la lipasa y el an\u00e1lisis del contenido en glucosa, sugiri\u00f3 que los compuestos antif\u00fangicos son de naturaleza glucoprote\u00edca con la actividad antif\u00fangica posiblemente en la parte
