Las c\u00e9lulas de neuroblastoma de rat\u00f3n n2a entran en apoptosis al inhibir la pkca, y para ello es necesaria la activaci\u00f3n de jnk y la inhibici\u00f3n de erk. Sin embargo, una l\u00ednea derivada de las c\u00e9lulas n2a que sobre-expresan la prote\u00edna bcl-2, es resistente a esta inducci\u00f3n de apoptosis, posiblemente por no producirse ni la inhibici\u00f3n de la v\u00eda en erk ni la activaci\u00f3n de la v\u00eda de jnk.  las c\u00e9lulas n2a se diferenciacian cuando se las ayuna de los factores de crecimiento presentes en el suero, cuando se las trata con geldanamicina (un inhibidor de la chaperona hsp90) o sb203580 (un inhibidor de p38 y jnk), y cuando se las transfecta con una construcci\u00f3n de mekk1 constitutivamente activa. En todas estas condiciones se produce la activaci\u00f3n de erk, que parece necesaria y suficiente para la diferenciaci\u00f3n.  tambi\u00e9n se han estudiado otros efectos de la geldanamicina. Este inhibidor induce apoptosis en las c\u00e9lulas pc12 e importantes cambios morfol\u00f3gicos en otros tipos celulares (mioblastos c2c12, keratinocitos 3d y pam, c\u00e9lulas epiteliares hek293 y
