La constataci\u00f3n de la omnipresencia de cetones lineales de origen algal permite plantear un estudio paleot\u00e9rmico sobre la base del \u00edndice uk37. Para ello, previamente se calibra este \u00edndice mediante el estudio de 31 muestras de sedimentos superficiales, comparando los valores del \u00edndice con las temperaturas modernas. Se constata un alto grado de proporcionalidad, hecho que supone la primera demostraci\u00f3n del correcto funcionamiento del \u00edndice uk37 para aguas calientes (hasta 29-30\u00c2\u00bac).  sobre la base de este \u00edndice paleotermom\u00e9trico y al estudio de alcanos y alcoholes terr\u00edgenos, se estudian cuatro testigos sedimentarios de diferentes zonas de la mar d ela china meridional. Como resultados paleoceanogr\u00e1ficos se llega a las siguientes conclusiones:  &#8211; las variaciones de las temperaturas superficiales entre el \u00faltimo per\u00edodo glacial y el presente son considerablemente mayores en este mar que en los oc\u00e9anos a iguales latitudes.  &#8211; los momentos m\u00e1s importantes en el proceso de inundaci\u00f3n de sundaland quedan circunscritos a los per\u00edodos 15 &#8211; 13.5 kyr bp y 11.5 &#8211; 10 kyr bp.  &#8211; las temperaturas superficiales y las abundancias de alcanos terr\u00edgenos presentan una proporcionalidad inversa furto de la gran influencia de las variaciones en el nivel del mar.  &#8211; durante los per\u00edodos glaciales se intensifica el monz\u00f3n seco de inverno mientras que durante los interglaciales es el monz\u00f3n lluvioso de verano el que se intensifica.  &#8211; la din\u00e1mica del monz\u00f3n asi\u00e1tico durante le holoceno presenta ciclicidades de 84,102 y 77<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos
