Para eso se estudi\u00f3 y se caracteriz\u00f3 la se\u00f1al de detectores de micropistas, como pueden ser el msgc mgc o silicio. Se hicieron estudios de la dependencia del desarrollo temporal de la se\u00f1al y de la altura de pulso m\u00e1ximo para diferentes metalizaciones, oro y cromo y para diferentes tipos de lectura, an\u00f3dica o cat\u00f3dica.  se estudi\u00f3 pormenorizadamente la lectura de msgc con electr\u00f3nica front-end de memoria anal\u00f3gica, m\u00e1s concretamente con el chip spc. Se descibre detalladamente el chip apc, y su modos de operaci\u00f3n as\u00ed como los diferentes algoritmos de reconstrucci\u00f3n de se\u00f1al que se pueden implementar en el apc. Se estudi\u00f3 la ocupaci\u00f3n y la altura de pulso reconstruida para cada algoritmo.  la otra parte novedosa de la tesis consiste en el dise\u00f1o y construcci\u00f3n de la cadena de lectrua de los detectores de msgc\/gem de dirac. La cadena de lectrua de un plano consiste en la: placa del detector, h\u00edbrido, placa de control y placa vme. En la placa del detector va montado el detector msgc\/gem as\u00ed como la electr\u00f3nica front end (16 chips apc) y parte de la electr\u00f3ncia de control de los apc. En la placa de control se almacenan la secuencia de control digital que sirve para el funcionamiento de los apc. Adem\u00e1s se multiplexan anal\u00f3gicamnete 2:1 la salido de los apc, se digitalizan y se vuelven a multiplexar digitamente 2:1 para ser enviados a trav\u00e9s de 4 lineas a la placa vme. La placa vme resta pedestales, y suprime ceros. Los datos son almacenados hasta que en el interspil son le\u00eddos por el sistema de toma de datos daq.  dirac es un experimento de blanco con im\u00e1n de doble instalado en el acaelerador ps del cern desde octubre 1995. La intenci\u00f3n del experimento y la medida de la vida media de los \u00e1tomos pi\u00f3nicos.
