En concreto, se analiza el desarrollo de la innovaci\u00f3n (emergencia, evoluci\u00f3n, crecimiento, finalizaci\u00f3n) a lo largo del tiempo.  el trabajo se estructura en tres partes: la primera, se dedica a la revisi\u00f3n te\u00f3rica sobre el tema; la segunda, se ocupa de la presentaci\u00f3n del trabajo emp\u00edrico, por lo que se dedica un espacio a la presentaci\u00f3n de la \u00abgrounded theory\u00bb o teor\u00eda fundamentada como aproximaci\u00f3n metodol\u00f3gica empleada, as\u00ed como de los distintos resultados obtenidos a partir del an\u00e1lisis realizado; y en \u00faltimo lugar, se atiende a las principales conclusiones que se obtienen del trabajo.  de manera coherente con la literatura revisada, en la presente tesis se presenta un doble objetivo:  1. Estudiar el desarrollo de las acciones de innovaci\u00f3n tecnol\u00f3gica, enfatizando dos dimensiones propias de este fen\u00f3meno: temporal y hol\u00edstica o interactiva.  2. Generar un modelo o teor\u00eda formal sobre la innovaci\u00f3n tecnol\u00f3gica en la organizaci\u00f3n, a partir del empleo de una aproximaci\u00f3n metodol\u00f3gica de car\u00e1cter interpretativo, generadora y constructora de teor\u00eda, basada en la grounded theory propuesta por glaser y strauss (1967).  las conclusiones del trabajo indican que se requiere un enfoque m\u00e1s integrado del estudio de la innovaci\u00f3n tecnol\u00f3gica que permita relacionar los distintos procesos organizacionales que se vinculan a la misma. Adem\u00e1s, se advierte que el desarrollo de la innovaci\u00f3n puede seguir un patr\u00f3n ca\u00f3tico y que la organizaci\u00f3n puede relacionarse con su entorno desde distintos estilos de
