Para estos complejos se encuentran condiciones adecuadas para que las reacciones sean esteroespec\u00edficas hacia la disposici\u00f3n cis de los dos metales respecto del ligando puente. Los compuestos hidruro-tricarbonilo se transforman con facilidad en derivados cilo-tricarbonilo, mientras que el  estudio de la reactividad de ambas familias de compuestos da lugar a la preparaci\u00f3n de complejos en los que se establece un puente carbonilo entre ti y m y a la de derivados mono, di y trimetilados. La oxidaci\u00f3n del metal del grupo 6 en los complejos cloro-tricarbonilo con pcl5 permite obtener los complejos cloruro correspondientes de m(v), que a su vez son utilizados para sintetizar complejos imido de w en estado de oxidaci\u00f3n vi mediante reacciones con aminas y posterior oxidaci\u00f3n. Se comprueba que reacciones similares con los compuestos hidroru-tricarbonilo de w conducen a productos semejantes, pero en los que uno de los puentes dimetilsilanodiil se rompe. el estudio finaliza con diversas reacciones de alquilaci\u00f3n de los derivados ti\/w(vi)-imido, que ponen de manifiesto que se trata de procesos regioselectivos, primero hacia los enlace w-cl cis al grupo imido,
