En la corteza, lo minerales m\u00e1s abundantes son calcio, potasio y nitr\u00f3geno. En la pulpa, m\u00e1s del 75% de la fracci\u00f3n mineral corresponde al potasio. Se han estudiado tambi\u00e9n las relaciones entre elementos encontr\u00e1ndose que el cociente potasio\/cobre es el m\u00e1s constante, tanto entre campa\u00f1as como en una misma campa\u00f1a. Mediante t\u00e9cnicas estad\u00edsticas multivariantes se han identificado los contituyentes minerales que permiten diferenciar tanto entre cosechas como entre partes de naranja, especialmente en el caso de las pulpas, en las que mediante un an\u00e1lisis discriminante y aplicando el sistema iterativo de exclusi\u00f3n de variables, se puede diferenciar entre campa\u00f1as s\u00f3lo con los datos de potasio y magnesio.  por otro lado se han investigado tambi\u00e9n los gluc\u00f3sidos de flavonoides en derivados azucarados de c\u00edtricos, adquiridos en el comercio; y en derivados azucarados de naranja amarga de sevilla, elaborados en el laboratorio a partir de preparados en el laboratorio. Los gluc\u00f3sidos identificadaos fueron naringina, hesperidina, neohesperidina y neoeriocitrina. Los derivados de naranja amarga de sevilla analizados s\u00f3l contienen naringina, neohesperidina y neoeriocitrina. Se observ\u00f3 que el modo de elaboraci\u00f3n del preparado b\u00e1sico influye en las concentraciones de los gluc\u00f3sidos de flavnoides determinados, obteni\u00e9ndose concentraciones m\u00e1s elevadas cuando se utilizan preparados b\u00e1sicos que incluyen el agua de cocci\u00f3n de las cortezas.
