Dentro de este marco de trabajo, nuestro objetivo es la resoluci\u00f3n, en parte, de denominado problema inverso, es decir, la obtenci\u00f3n de inforamci\u00f3n sobre la morfolog\u00eda de las part\u00edculas difusoras (forma, tama\u00f1o, distribuci\u00f3n) y propiedades \u00f3pticas, a partir del estudio de la luz difundida por dichas superficies. En concreto, la informaci\u00f3n deseada se obtiene a partir de los patrones de intensidad difundida copolarizada, en situaci\u00f3n de campo lejano y dentro del plano de incidencia, con especial atenci\u00f3n a los diagramas obtenidos a incidencia fija, los de retrodifusi\u00f3n y los diagrmas de difusi\u00f3n en torno a la direcci\u00f3n de retodifusi\u00f3n. Las part\u00edculas consideradas sonde geometr\u00eda sencilla -esf\u00e9rica, cil\u00edndrica o esferoidal- y de tama\u00f1o comparable a la longitud de onda.  las medidas experimentales realizadas corresponden a superficies planas contaminadas con part\u00edculas de forma y tama\u00f1o conocidos, los dispositivos experimetnales utilizados para la detecci\u00f3n de la luz difundida var\u00e1n seg\u00fan el tipo de patr\u00f3n de difusi\u00f3n requerido. Tanto las muestras como cada una de las instalaciones de detecci\u00f3n son descritas en detalle asimismo se presenta un modelo te\u00f3rico que proporciona los patrones de difusi\u00f3n por estas
