Se ha utilizado la tecnica descrita por schultz y modificada por munck que permite cuantificar directamente la velocidad de absorci\u00f3n del zinc en los distintos tramos estudiados. Para el c\u00e1lculo correcto del flujo transmembrana se han utilizado en los ensayos adem\u00e1s del zinc estable, los is\u00f3topos radiactivos 65 zn y 14 c-peg-4000. las muestras se analizaron mediante el uso de un contador en fase liquida(para la medida de la radiaci\u00f3n b procedente del 14 c-peg-4000 y del 65 zn y de la radiaci\u00f3n y procedente del 65zn). A partir de los flujos transmembrana,determinados en cada unod e los cuatro sectores estudiados, se procedi\u00f3 al an\u00e1lisis topogr\u00e1fico y cin\u00e9tico de los datos de absorci\u00f3n, as\u00ed como el estudio de posible fen\u00f3meno de autoinhibici\u00f3n. Adicionalmente, se han analizado la influencia del cu+2 en la absorci\u00f3n intestinal de zinc, cuantificando el flujo transmembrana del zinc en ausencia y su presencia de tres concentraciones diferentes de cu+2. De acuerdo con nuestros resultados , el zinc se absorve en todo el intestino delgado y en el colon, no existiendo una zona preferente de absorci\u00f3n que parezca bien definida. La cin\u00e9tica de absorci\u00f3n del zinc en el tramo inicial, medio y final se corresponde con una cin\u00e9tica de michaelis-menten, con los siguientes par\u00e1metros caracteristicos: km igual a 1470+-600 ug\/ml y vmax igual a 8.39+-2.98 umol\/cm2.H para el tramo inicial, km igual a 265+-53.5 ug\/ml y vmax igual a 1.62+-0.25 umol\/cm2.H para el tramo medio y km igual a 414+-59.8 ug\/ml y vmax igual a 3.42+-0.41 umol\/cm2.H para el tramo final del intestino delgado. Por el contrario, la cin\u00e9tica del proceso de absorci\u00f3n en el colon es de orden uno: ka igual a 2.17.10-3+-3.12.10-4 cm.H-1.
