Si adem\u00e1s los problemas a abordar tienen impl\u00edcita una carga asociada de imprecisi\u00f3n e incertidumbre, la l\u00f3gica borrosa proporciona herramientas para gestionarlos adecuadamente. Se ha focalizado en dos aspectos:  -por un lado, se ha realizado un desarrollo experimental que contribuye al estudio de los sistemas de predicci\u00f3n, mediante un sistema basado en el conociminto para predecir las pautas de aparici\u00f3n de incendios forestales en una comarca gallega, estimando el n\u00famero de siniestros esperados para los siguientes d\u00edas, as\u00ed como las necesidades en cuanto a especialistas, patrullas y medios mec\u00e1nicos, para poder combatir estos sucesos con eficacia.  el pron\u00f3stico resultante, es usado para optimizar el uso de recursos disponibles en la lucha contra los incendios forestales, tanto en ubicaci\u00f3n, como en prioridades, horarios,etc.  -por otro, se ha dotado este desarrollo de un modeloa te\u00f3rico, basado en categorias
