La tesis presentada gira alrededor de las contribuciones del autor a todo el proceso de dise\u00f1o, construcci\u00f3n y ensayos de los dos tapones (denominado cada uno endcap) del calor\u00edmetro em.  considerando, por un lado, los fundamentos de la t\u00e9cnica de muestreo arg\u00f3n l\u00edquido-plomo, y por otro lado, los criterios de uniformidad derivados de la peculiar estructura geom\u00e9trica del calor\u00edmetro em (denominada acorde\u00f3n), se establecen los requisitos aplicables al dise\u00f1o mec\u00e1nico del em endcap.  centr\u00e1ndonos en las unidades f\u00edsicas (denominadas absorbers) que constituyen (en un n\u00famero de 1024) cada endcap, tres grandes problem\u00e1ticas son abordadas:  * evaluaci\u00f3n termomec\u00e1nica del laminado (dos pieles externas de acero unidas a la capa central de plomo mediante un adhesivo de resina expoxy reforzado con fibra de vidrio) al que estructuralmente equivale el absorber. para su an\u00e1lisis detallado, tanto como integrante de la estructura completa del endcap como sistema independiente, se recurre a la t\u00e9cnica de modelizaci\u00f3n por elementos finitos.  * definici\u00f3n del proceso de producci\u00f3n de los absorbers, as\u00ed como el dise\u00f1o y construcci\u00f3n de los \u00fatiles necesarios para ello. La fabricaci\u00f3n de la geometr\u00eda acorde\u00f3n consta de un primer paso de conformaci\u00f3n por deformaci\u00f3n pl\u00e1stica, y exige el curado \u00faltimo del adhesivo mediante la
