Las tecnicas utilizadas son fundamentalmente: tecnicas de purificacion de proteinas (diversos tipos de cromatografias), tecnicas de secuenciacion de proteinas, tecnicas de reaccion con anticuerpos, tecnicas de microscopia electronica, de difraccion de rayos x, y analisis teorico de las moleculas por diversos algoritmos.  los resultados muestran que los cambios en la conformacion de la cromatina que se observan en la espermiogenesis son debidos a los cambios de la interaccion del dna con las proteinas. Estas, son sintetizadas en forma de moleculas precursoras que progresivamente van sufriendo delecciones de los residuos n- terminales, convirtiendose en moleculas muy simples y muy basicas. Los diferentes analisis del sistema indican que muy posiblemente, este se ha formado a partir de regiones homopurinicas-homopirimidinicas del dna genomico de esta
