Se plantea una ampliaci\u00f3n de modelos existentes en la bibliografia para el estudio de la complejaci\u00f3n mediante tecnicas polarograficas. Se ha procedido a su validacion experimental en tres casos limite:  a)formacion de complejos labiles macromoleculares y sencillos de estequiometria 1:1(metal:ligando). Los sistemas experimentales son: zn+acido polimetacrilico (pma)+ftalato y cd+pma+bromuro(jec 431 (1997)99).  b)formacion de complejos labiles macromoleculares 1:1 y sencillos 1:n. el sistema estudiado es cd+pma + yoduro (jec 432(1997)243).  c)formacion de complejos macromoleculares labiles e inertes. El sistema estudiado es zn+    -carragenato+ acido nitrilotriacetico (nta)(jec 453(1998)151).  una vez presentado el modelo, se ha comprobado su validez en condiciones para las que las se\u00f1ales voltamperometricas se distorsionan por efecto de fenomenos secundarios. El sistema estudiado es zn+oxalato, para el que se han obtenido valores para las constantes de todos los equilibrios en consonancia con los valores de la bibliografia (jec 475(1999)99).  este primer bloque se finaliza con la extensi\u00f3n del modelo para las tecnicas de redisoluci\u00f3n, las cuales son muchos m\u00e1s convenientes para el analisis de muestras ambientales debido a su mayor sensibilidad en comparaci\u00f3n con las polarograficas. La validez de la extension seha comprobado con el sistema estudiado anteriormente zn+pma+ftalato(electroanalysis 10(1998)417).  2) aplicaci\u00f3n en casos de defecto de ligando respecto al ion
