Los resultados de las predicciones explican las variaciones de estas variables con las caracteristicas microsc\u00f3picas como geometr\u00eda de la celda, caracter\u00edsticas morfol\u00f3gicas celulares y de la matriz polimerica dispuesta en la espuma.  las propiedades mec\u00e1nicas a bajas y altas velocidades de deformaci\u00f3n son determinadas y los resultados comparados con los modelos te\u00f3ricos propuestos en la literatura. Un modelo modificado para predecir el esfuerzo de colapso de estos materiales en funci\u00f3n de su densidad relativa es propuesto.
