Para lograr este objetivo se han seguido tres etapas fundamentales.  -caracterizaci\u00f3n fisico-quimica de ambos materiales. En este sentido, para las cenizas volantes se han desarrollado diversos metodos basados en el analisis termico para la determinaci\u00f3n del contenido en carbon y de otras sustancias presentes, como carbonato c\u00e1lcico.  -evaluaci\u00f3n de la actividad puzol\u00e1nica de ambos materiales por separado y de la mezcla cv\/hs. Para ello se han seguido dos procedimientos: el analisis termogravim\u00e9trico en mezclas cal\/puzolana y cemento\/puzolana y la medida de la conductividad electrica de suspensiones acuosas cal\/puzolana, donde se han sugerido diversas modificaciones al m\u00e9todo propuesto por luxan y colaboradores para que pueda utilizar con puzolanas artificiales como la ceniza volante y el humo de silice.  -evaluaci\u00f3n de ambas puzolanas por separado o la mezcla cv\/hs en morteros, tanto en estado fresco(medida de trabajabilidades) como en estado en estado endurecido(medida de resistencias mecanicas). En este sentido se ha observado que al sustituir cemento por la mezcla cv\/hs se obtienen aumentos espectaculares en los valores de resistencia a compresi\u00f3n, tanto m\u00e1s cuanto mayor es el
