La investigaci\u00f3n del papel que juegan estas quinasas en el proceso antagonico de muerte celular por apoptosis desvela que su actividad se inhibe como consecuencia de la union a la proteina par-4 o de la radiacion uv y que esta inhibicion promueve el desarrollo de la apoptosis.  en la cascada de se\u00f1alizacion, independiente de p53, desencadenada por estimulos apoptoticos, las pkcs atipicas se situan por debajo de bc1-2 y por encima del sistema de caspasas. Asimismo cpkc, pero no \/1pkc, se degrada por la caspasa 3, generando un fragmento cataliticamente inactivo.  los mecanismos a traves de los cuales la inhibici\u00f3n de las pkcs atipicas promueve la apoptosis implican la inactivaci\u00f3n de la ruta de nf-kb, asi como la inibhicion de la actividad de mapk con la consiguiente activacion de p38.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la
