Con fines comparativos tambien se incluye un tercer compuesto, azone r, de reconocido efecto promotor sobre distintos tipos de compuestos, dotado tambi\u00e9n de la misma cadena alqu\u00edlica.  se ha evaluado la potencia relativa de estas tres mol\u00e9culas como promotores de la penetraci\u00f3n \u00abin vitro\u00bb de una seria de compuestos que presentan valores de lipofilia comprendidos entre log poct=0,95 y los poct=2.33. Adem\u00e1s, tambi\u00e9n se estudia la influencia de la concentraci\u00f3n a la que se emplea el promotor.  con este fin, se realizan ensayos de difusi\u00f3n  \u00abin vitro\u00bb para determinar los coeficientes de permeabilidad, kp, de los permeantes en ausencia y en presencia de los promotores en la membrana. La membrana utilizada fue epidermis de rata wistar.  los resultados indican que la naturaleza del grupo que constituyen la cabeza polar del promotor ejerce un papel importante en sus efectos sobre la barrera cut\u00e1nea.
