La especificidad de hla-b3905 se aproxima a la de b1509 y b3801, ausentes en amerindios. La especificidad de b3909 se aproxima a la de hla-b27, ausente en sudamerindios. Sin embargo, la especificidad de b3910 es totalmente distinta a b3901 y se aproxima a la de hla-b53, asociado a protecci\u00f3n contra malaria. Los datos sugieren que la evoluci\u00f3n de hla-b39 est\u00e1 dirigida por ant\u00edgeno.  se identific\u00f3 un ligando n(alfa)-acetilado en el repertorio natural de hla-b39 indicando que las mol\u00e9culas de clase i cl\u00e1sicas pueden unir in vivo p\u00e9ptidos con el grupo nh2-terminal bloqueado, aspecto previamente descartado por consideraciones de estabilidad y estructurales. B3910 une naturalmente un dodec\u00e1mero abundante con ng, ng-dimetil-arginina en posici\u00f3n 6, posiblemente accesible para el reconocimiento por ctls. Se destaca la relevancia de la espectrometr\u00eda de masas de trampa i\u00f3nica cuadrupolar en el an\u00e1lisis de repertorios pept\u00eddicos de mhc y en la caracterizaci\u00f3n de modificaciones
