Sin embargo, tambi\u00e9n es bien conocido la dificultad que implica el procesado de la se\u00f1al ac\u00fastica y los errores asociados que pueden llegar a tener las medidas de la velocidad en funci\u00f3n de la metodolog\u00eda del procesado y de la precisi\u00f3n de los intrumentos auxiliares utilizados por el perfilador. en este trabajo se presenta una nueva metodolog\u00eda que permite mejorar notablemente la precisi\u00f3n de las medidas de velocidad gracias al uso de un nuevo sistema de posicionamiento tridimensional(3df ashtech) utilizado de forma auxiliar por el perfilador. La reducci\u00f3n del error asociado a las velocidades medidas se ha evaluado en un 25% comparado con el error inducido con otras metodolog\u00edas anteriores.  el esfuerzo en mejorar la precisi\u00f3n de las medidas de velocidad tiene un objetivo principal: llevar a cabo un analisis multivariante en el que se combinan los datos hidrogr\u00e1ficos registrados con un
