La astronom\u00eda gamma se divide convencionalmente en tres rangos: alta energ\u00eda (hasta 100 gev), muy alta energ\u00eda (de 100 gev a 100 tev) y ultra-alta energ\u00eda(m\u00e1s de 100 tev). En los dos \u00faltimos las observaciones no pueden realizarse desde sat\u00e9lites debido a su limitada \u00e1rea efectiva y a los extremadamente bajos flujos emitidos incluso por las fuentes gamma m\u00e1s intensas. En el rango de muy alta energ\u00eda la t\u00e9cnica de detecci\u00f3n m\u00e1s empleada es la de observaci\u00f3n de la luz cherenkov producida por las cascadas de part\u00edculas iniciadas por los fotones gamma al entrar enla atm\u00f3sfera. El detector airobicc es un detector cherenkov de gran aceptancia que forma parte del experimento hegra (high energy gamma ray astronomy), situado en el observatorio del roque de los muchachos(la palma). Hegra consta tambi\u00e9n de una matriz de detectores de centelleo y de un sistema de seis telescopios cherenkov. El umbral energ\u00e9tico de airobicc para fotones gamma es de 15 tev.  la memoria presentada trata de la calibraci\u00f3n del detector airobicc y de la matriz de centelleadores, y del an\u00e1lisis de los datos registrados conjuntamente por ambos a lo largo de cinco a\u00f1os de observaciones (1994-1999). Se han seleccionado 197 fuentes gal\u00e1cticas y extragal\u00e1cticas que por diversas razones se consideran candidatos a emisores gamma de muy alta energ\u00eda. se ha investigado la posible emisi\u00f3n continua o espor\u00e1dica de estos objetos, considerados como fuentes puntuales, sin haber encontrado en ninguno de los dos casos se\u00f1ales estad\u00edsticamente significativas sobre
