Por sus caracter\u00edsticas, es una especie muy atractiva a la hora de aplicarle t\u00e9cnicas de ingenier\u00eda gen\u00e9tica. Por eso el objetivo de este trabajo consiti\u00f3 en desarrollar sistemas celulares para la manipulaci\u00f3n gen\u00e9tica de esta especie. Se ha obtenido una l\u00ednea celular de tipo fibroblastoide a partir de aleta caudal de dorada, a la que se denomin\u00f3 saf-1; esta linea seha caracterizado en detalle y constituye la primera l\u00ednea celular de esta especie. Por sus caracter\u00edsticas de estabilidad, euploid\u00eda y f\u00e1cil manipulaci\u00f3n es una herramienta muy \u00fatil en este y otros campos de la biolog\u00eda de la dorada. Se ha obtenido tambi\u00e9n una l\u00ednea de c\u00e9lulas \u00abes\u00bb de esta especie, denominada sabe-1c, la cual ha demostrado invitro poseer todas las caracter\u00edsticas de este tipo de c\u00e9lulas, tales como actividad fosfatasa alcalina y telomerasa, auplid\u00eda, capacidad de diferenciaci\u00f3n a distintos tipos celulares o formaci\u00f3n de cuerpos embrioideos. As\u00ed mismo, se ha demostrado su capacidad de colonizar distintos linajes celulares en embriones quimera, una vez que la t\u00e9cnica de inyecci\u00f3n de c\u00e9lulas se ha puesto a punto. Por tanto es una l\u00ednea de c\u00e9lulas totipotentes de dorada, es decir, una herramienta muy \u00fatil en el dise\u00f1o de estrategias para la manipulaci\u00f3n gen\u00e9tica de esta
