Se ha estudiado su efecto con el objetivo de conocer la acci\u00f3n sobre ciertas plagas, el impacto sobre insectos beneficiosos, la influencia en el desarrollo vegetativo y la cosecha, as\u00ed como la absorci\u00f3n y evoluci\u00f3n de sus metabolitos en el suelo, hojas y frutos.  hemos observado que aldicarb controla de forma adecuada las siguientes plagas: aleir\u00f3didos, \u00e1fidos, el pseudoc\u00f3cido planococcus citri risso y el \u00e1caro rojo panonychus citri macgregor. Al mismo tiempo, reduce la poblaci\u00f3n y da\u00f1os de minador de los c\u00edtricos, nem\u00e1todos y la ara\u00f1a roja tetranychus urticae koch. Influye poco en cochinillas diaspinas.  respecto a enemigos naturales de las plagas, se ha constatado escaso impacto. Hemos constatado que la m\u00e1xima abundancia de \u00e9stos, se produce en los meses correspondientes a primavera, aunque en algunos casos, encontramos m\u00e1ximos poblacionales durante todo el a\u00f1o.  se ha observado efectos cuantitativos en la brotaci\u00f3n y cosecha.
