La bacteria induce un  crecimiento desdiferenciado en los tejidos de la planta dando lugar a tumores. la formaci\u00f3n de \u00e9stos est\u00e1 inducida por la s\u00edntesis, por parte de la bacteria, de \u00e1cido indol 3-ac\u00e9tico.  el estudio realizado se basa fundamentalmente en los siguientes apartados:  &#8211; an\u00e1lisis cualitativo de la microbiotica existente en los tumores.  &#8211; an\u00e1lisis de la din\u00e1mica de las comunidades epif\u00edticas y endof\u00edticas.  en este apartado se estudia la influencia de los factores abi\u00f3ticos sobre las bacterias y la capacidad de \u00e9stas para formar n\u00facleos de hielo.  &#8211; caracterizaci\u00f3n fenot\u00edpica de la patovariedad que afecta a la retama y estudio de la variabilidad de cepas que afectan a otras plantas.
