El gen ssg1 codifica para una exo-1,3-b-glucanasa, inducida en los ultimos estadios de este proceso.  en este trabajo, hemos estudiado el promotor ssg1 para identificar las secuencias de dna que son importantes para mantener su represi\u00f3n durante el crecimiento vegetativo y aquellas que son necesarias para inducir la transcripci\u00f3n durante la esporulaci\u00f3n. Para ello, se construyeron un conjunto de deleciones sucesivas de la region 5 no codificante de ssg1 para analizar la actividad b-glucanasica producida por cada una de las construcciones. de esta manera se identificaron tres regiones independientes que actuan como secuencias represoras en el contexto del promotor nativo asi como un gen heter\u00f3logo, el gen lacz de escherichia coli, durante el crecimiento vegetativo. Ademas se hizo otras colecci\u00f3n de deleciones que fueron analizadas durante la esporulaci\u00f3n, lo que permiti\u00f3 identificar uan regi\u00f3n distinta que se encarga de inducir la expresion de la glucanasa durante este proceso de diferenciaci\u00f3n.  en una aproximaci\u00f3n alternativa, se ha llevado a cabo la b\u00fasqueda de genes regulatorios responsables de la expresi\u00f3n diferencial de ssg1. Para ello, cepas haploides portando cada una de las regiones represoras colocadas en la region 5\u00c2\u00bfde dos genes marcadores, ura3 y kanmx4, fueron sometidas a mutagenesis por integracion del transpos\u00f3n tn3. El analisis de las estirpes prototrofas para uracilo y resistentes a kanamicicna, ha permitido, identificar cuatro genes implicados en la represion de ssg1: dos de la ruta ras\/camp (cdc25 y cyr1) y
