De <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>El ciclo celular de s.Pombe consta de 4 fases: g1, s, g2 y m. Las ciclinas cdc13, cig1, cig2 y puc1 controlar\u00edan el paso por estas fases.  1,- cdc13 es la \u00fanica ciclina esencial, ya que promueve la mitosis. su actividad oscila en el ciclo celular, sindo m\u00ednima en g1 y m\u00e1xima en mitosis. Esto depende directamente de la proteolisis de cdc13, pues ciertas mutaciones es la secuencia del gen producen una proteina resistente a degradaci\u00f3n. este mutante, cdc13-des2, es letal para la c\u00e9lula en sobreexpresi\u00f3n, pues no permite la salida de mitosis. En cambio, en condiciones silvestres, la c\u00e9lula puede vivir, aunque presenta defectos en los procesos de mitosis y desarrollo sexual.  2,- la funci\u00f3n de cig1 parece ser redundante con otras prote\u00ednas. Participa en la inducci\u00f3n de la entrada en fase s y sus niveles proteicos oscilan de forma similar a los de cdc13: son m\u00ednimos en g1 y m\u00e1ximos en mitosis.  3,- cig2 es la principal ciclina que activa la fase s en s.Pombte. A pesar del alto grado de homolog\u00eda con cdc13, cig2 no puede sustituirla.Por otra parte, la expresi\u00f3n de un mutante indestructible de cig2, cig2db*, ocasiona un retraso en la fase g1, y ello depende del medio de crecimiento. tambi\u00e9n se ven afectados cl tama\u00f1o celular, la capacidad de bloquearse en g1 por privaci\u00f3n de nitr\u00f3geno y la fertilidad.  4,- puc1 regular\u00eda la entrada en el proceso de desarrollo sexual. Sus niveles proteicos son constantes durante el ciclo celular, y no aumentar en condiciones de privaci\u00f3n de nitr\u00f3geno. Puc1 contribuye tambi\u00e9n al paso por g1, y su falta, junto con cug1 y cig2, provoca hiperfertilidad. Este fenotipo se suprime eliminando a cum1.
