De las reacciones de los enolatos l\u00edticos de las z-ozimetilcetonas con diversos aldeh\u00eddos, los aldoles son obtenidos con relaciones diastereom\u00e9ricas de 95:5 aproximadamente. Las a-oxietilcetonas fueron preparadas a trav\u00e9s de la cianohidrina del r-alcanfor y dieron lugar en reacciones ald\u00f3licas a diasteroselectividades comprendidas entre 80:20 y 95:5.  la reacci\u00f3n de mannich tambien es estudiada para este tipo de cetonas empleando a-sulfonilcarbamatos dando lugar a relaciones de is\u00f3meros entre 98:2 y 99:1 en las reacciones utilizando enolatos de litio de las a-oximetilcetonas.  las correspondientes etilcetonas dieron lugar a mezclas 90:10 de los diastere\u00f3meros.  finalmente se obtuvo un metodo altamente diastereoselctivo de
