En primer lugar se propone el uso de metodos basados en estadisticos de orden superior para la restauracion de imagenes degradadas por filtros de fase lineal y ruido gaussiano.  se examinan tambien, imagenes astronomicas donde el blurring es causado por turbulencias de la atmosfera. En esta parte de la tesis se desarrollan metodos basados en el \u00abbicepstrum iterative reconstruction algorithm\u00bb y el \u00abweigth slice algorithm\u00bb.  en la segunda parte de la tesis se propone una clase de funciones de coste basadas en estadisticos de orden superior para estimar el movimiento entre imagenes consecutivas de una secuencia degradadas por ruido gaussiano aditivo de covarianza desconocida.
