En este sentido, los agentes m\u00e1s eficces sonlos agonistas selectivos del receptor. Entre los que se encuentran el fentanilo y sus an\u00e1logos. Los principales inconvenientes que presenta el fentanilo son la tolerancia, la dependencia f\u00edsica y la depresi\u00f3n respiratoria.  otra caracter\u00edstica a veces no deseable, es la corta duraci\u00f3n de su efecto. Todo ello, se ha llevado en los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os a la b\u00fasqueda y al desarrollo de an\u00e1logos estructurales, que preservando su potente efecto analg\u00e9sico, mejoren sus caracter\u00edsticas farmacocin\u00e9ticas y presenten menos efectos adversos. El grupo que dirige la dra. Goya del instituto de qu\u00edmica m\u00e9dica del csic, ha sintetizado una nueva serie de derivados del fentanilo cuya caracterizaci\u00f3n farmacol\u00f3gica in vitro y la valoraci\u00f3nd e su efecto analg\u00e9sico in vivo, se han realizado \u00e9sta tesis doctoral. Para la valoraci\u00f3n de su efecto analg\u00e9sico hemos elegido dos test de analgesia el test de la placa caliente y edel \u00e1cido ac\u00e9tico. En ambos test.
