Evaluar el efecto de la radiacion solar sobre las poblaciones de e.Coli presentes en los sistemas acuaticos, ponderando la importancia relativa de los tres componentes del espectro: uv-b (280 a 320 nm), uv-a (320 a 400 nm) y visible (400 nm).  2. Conocer los mecanismos implicados en los procesos de fotoinactivacion atribuibles a los componentes visible, uv-a y uv-b del espectro solar. valorar la participaci\u00f3n de sensibilizadores end\u00f3genos, sensibilizadores ex\u00f3genos y oxigeno molecular en los procesos de fotoinactivaci\u00f3n.  3. Conocer el papel desempe\u00f1ado por las sustancias humicas, disueltas en los sistemas acuaticos, en los procesos de fotoinactivacion que experimentan las bacterias expuestas a radiacion solar.  4. Conocer la respuesta a la radiaci\u00f3n solar en distintos tipos bacterianos. valorar las consecuencias biologicas derivadas de un aumento en la radiaci\u00f3n solar.  las conclusiones m\u00e1s importante deducidas son:  el efecto de la radiaci\u00f3n solar en e.Coli se traduce en un escenso progresivo de las funciones metabolicas, originando celulas en estado activo no cultivable, si bien la exposicion selectiva a radiacion uv-a no induce la formaci\u00f3n de estas celulas.  las lesiones producidas por cualquier de tres componentes del espectrosolar se originan sin la medicion del oxigeno molecular.
