Para ello se realizaron medias de gsa y del efecto pockels electr\u00f3nico. Adem\u00e1s se utiliz\u00f3 la t\u00e9cnica de gsa para investigar otras propiedades f\u00edsicas de algunos de estos materiales.  en una primera parte del trabajo se realiza la caracterizaci\u00f3n del tensor susceptibilidad de segundo orden x(2) correspondiente al proceso de gsa en diferentes materiales l\u00edquido-cristalinos, tanto en compuestos de bajo peso molecular como en fotopol\u00edmeros derivados de ellos. Por otra parte, se analizan las condiciones bajo las cuales puede observarse elpm en la gsa de clfs, tanto de tipo i como de tipo ii.Haciendo uso de medias de gsa, eo y de interferometr\u00eda de gsa, estudiamos la din\u00e1mica de conmutaci\u00f3n molecular en varios materiales. Por \u00faltimo, motivados por las intersantes perspectivas que ofrecen los nuevos materiales de estructura de tipo banan, analizamos la respuesta de gsa en un compuesto de estas
