Afirmamos que es posible explicitar una nueva propuesta normativa que nos ayde a compensar y corregir las omisiones y espacios vacantes que el despliegue de la racionalidad moderna e ilustrada gener\u00f3 en el terreno de los choque culturales. Una racionalida occidental quem a pesar de sus pretensiones de universalizaci\u00f3n, ha dejado fuera de su cobertura a las otras culturas y civilizaciones cuando los pueblos y las razas han entrado en contacto, excribiendo episodios de violencia, genocidio, etnocidio y desencuentros. una racionalidad, en consecuencia, instrumentalizada y reduccionista que se ha concretado hist\u00f3ricamente en expresiones de etoncentrismo y eurocentrismo. sostenemos que en el renacimiento espa\u00f1ol y, al calor del encuentro entre europa y las culturas amerindias, algunos te\u00f3logos, misioneros y personajes como bartolom\u00e9 de las casas, en sus aportaciones te\u00f3ricas y ejemplos vivenciales (desde el humanismo cristiano de inspiraci\u00f3n iusnaturalista para superar la teor\u00eda de la esclavitud natural de arist\u00f3teles y comprender las diferencias culturales censurando la jerarquizaci\u00f3n moral de las razas), nos leg\u00f3 para la paz y la convivencia intercultural el reconocimiento del derecho de interlocuci\u00f3n del diferente como exponente de una neuva racionalidad comunicativa es otro de los atributos que, quinientos a\u00f1os despu\u00e9s, confirman la
